
After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, Dr Dunning received his Bachelors degree in Science, focusing on Bio-Medical Engineering from Texas A&M University at College Station. Dr Dunning first began his medical career in the field of Physical Therapy while in the United States Air Force serving at three bases in Texas and California. As a therapist, Dr. Dunning worked in skilled nursing facilities, chiropractic offices, sports medicine, and long-term acute care hospitals. After approximately ten years in PT, Dr. Dunning attended the four-year, post-baccalaureate, Naturopathic Medical School at Bastyr University in Kenmore Washington. During his time in Seattle, Dr Dunning spent three years in clinical residency for family practice at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Wallingford, WA. From this program, Dr. Dunning graduated with honors, concomitantly completing a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture.
Dr. Dunning then completed training in Neuroendocrinology in Everett, Washington and further specialized in pain management modalities such as prolotherapy, neurotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic manipulation, and IV therapies. In Carmel California Dr. Dunning has continued his training in Integrative Neuroendocrinology under Denise R. Mark M.D.
Dr. Dunning currently lives in Carmel Valley and enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, sailing, skydiving and kayaking.

- Managing Thyroid disorders using bioidentical thyroid preparations
- Weight Counseling and Intervention. Blood sugar markers, Diabetes, and Metabolic Estimation.
- Managing the symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia and generalized mood disorders.
